Raku pottery is the technique of taking pottery out of a kiln while it is still glowing orange and hot, and placing it in a barrel of combustibles, essentially lighting the pottery on fire.
The fire then alters the glaze outcomes by producing copper flashes and wonderful crackling effects.

With your raku experience, you’ll receive two pieces of pottery. You will be guided through how to glaze your pieces and then participate in the firing process. You will take your pieces home the same day.
