2026 Artist Workshops
July 12: Levi Yastrow
Discover how colorful clay can completely transform your work as Amber shares the techniques they use to create their signature patterned porcelain and richly textured functional pottery. Throughout the day, you’ll learn multiple methods for coloring clay, creating custom press molds, building patterned slabs, and incorporating texture into your ceramic forms.
September 12: Amber Frances

October 17-18: Christina Orthwein
Throughout the weekend, you’ll learn how to transform your own artwork into a hand-carved plaster press mold, then use that mold to create a beautifully textured six-sided curved mug. Along the way, you’ll gain practical mold-making techniques that can be used again and again in your own studio practice.
November 21-22: Ian Childers
Crystalline glazing is unlike any other glazing process. Through carefully formulated glazes and specialized firing schedules, beautiful crystal formations grow within the glaze during the firing, creating breathtaking one-of-a-kind surfaces. In this hands-on workshop, Ian will guide students through every step of the process, giving you the knowledge and confidence to begin exploring crystalline glazing in your own studio.
December 5-6: Juliann Roush
Known for her joyful, highly textured work and vibrant use of color, Juliann will guide participants through the process of building a charming hinged puffy box that can be displayed as wall art or treasured as a functional keepsake. Along the way, you’ll discover unique techniques that add personality, movement, and intricate detail to handbuilt ceramics.
